I have this plant growing in a few of my VFT pots. It just randomly came up......
Can anyone identify??

looks like some sort of sedge.

Looks like a bulrush to me (a kind of swamp grass). It has an extensive root system and can be a real PITA to remove without yanking out a big gob of soil.

Yeah I'm quickly finding that out.... I got a couple growing right against the VFT..
