Is it white flies ? They didn’t move

It gives me idea that something laid eggs on it. I discarded the infected leaves, wiped away the ones I could with cotton saturated with Bayer 3 in 1, and then will get som systemic orthene later in the week once a week, for a few weeks.

Thanks Dean. This one came from another Dean, which surprises me since it’s the first plant I got from him out of the 15 or so that was infected with anything. It’s in isolation now, but had been near my other Nepenthes for months before I noticed them.

Scale spreads at moderate speed. If only one or a couple plants are affected, can just remove them using tweezers. Scrape lightly, they fall off easily. These mature individuals are immobile. They can't make it back to the leaf even though still alive. Cut off heavily infested leaves. Do it for a few days to make sure all are removed. Should be free of scale for at least a few months. Relatively easy to get rid of. Otherwise, carbamate insecticide is effective.
