PetFlytrap stocks both, and this is in their description for Dentate:
Technically, the cultivars known as 'Dente' and just 'Dentate' should both be called 'Dentate Traps'. However, our cultures of 'Dente' and 'Dentate Traps' originate from two very distinct sources; so we have opted to offer both-
The ICPS 'Dentate Traps' description should help give context to the above.

Technically, they're the same. Dente came around because someone misheard when they were told Dentate, so that label was born.
Even though Dente is wrong (it should be Dentate), it's been around long enough that most people will stay with the name that it was sold under.
