Has anyone used Caisson Labs' "vessel tape"? What is it made of? Is it plastic wrap, or Teflon tape, or parafilm? Sterilizable?

I guess its what we use at our lab, and call "parafilm"

Here was the response:

Our vessel wrap is basically a roll of “cling wrap” you can purchase in the grocery store. (Just a thinner strip that is easier to use.) It is not sterile and shouldn’t be autoclaved.

I think I will stick to my plan of using parafilm.

parafilm is manufactured with a paper backing and typically used to help further seal already sealed containers. Not sure what vessel wrap is but stretch wrap like this http://www.stretchwrapsupply.com primary use is in the packaging industry
