It's safer to wait. A fed trap will sometimes rot, so you want to make sure the plant has backups.

Curious- what kit did you get?

Cool! Those kits don't usually work out, the seeds tend to be too old, but it's great that yours did.

A success story from the hobby lobby kits, that's awesome! None of my fly trap seeds from my kit germinated, but 5 of the sarrs did. Unfortunately due to a lot of beginner errors I only have the one sarr left.

I put them in a water bottle top then soaked them in pure rain water and when they started to grow i moved them to their pot.
