Just saw these little guys sprouting today on the moss ... doesn’t look like grass and I didn’t plant any seeds. It’s not just one or two... there seems to be many of them growing in different areas. Am I friend or foe ?

Theyre the "flowers" of that moss. Spores, basically, its a way that moss grows

Should I rip them out or just leave them alone?

Whatever you want to do, they're harmless. If you do decide to rip them out, be careful you dont pull all the moss out with them, cut them out instead.
