Hi I have a few extra S. Purpurea and was wondering if anybody wanted to make some offers to me. Pretty much open to anything.

I will try getting some pics up later. They are s. purpurea spp. purpurea. They are used to massachusetts weather and over winter outside. So far this year we have had a lot of rain, and not to much warmth so not many new pitchers have opened yet, but like I said they are hardy enough to overwinter outside up here.

Those look very odd. They are just as good as any other purpurea, but if you are going to sell something with pics you get better luck when they look really good. that's why normal flytraps go for 50+ on ebay.

They just look like divisions. My large purps divisions look just like that when I take them.

They look like these burkii I used to have that I had under a bench in the greenhouse. The extended pitchers.

The pitchers are extended like that because they were probably under a lot of growth and being shaded by bigger pitchers. I have a purp that makes deformed leaves every so often because the pitchers are so crowded and crammed together so tight. The new growth on all the divs in the pics look good to me.

Like I said, they are just fine but you get more offers on plants that are "showy".
