Searching for a Hamata. Can't seem to locate one, does anyone have one they'd be willing to sell? Maybe a clipping?

Looks like 300 bucks will get you a rooted cutting, from the photo: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nepenthes-hamat ... SwuzRXfy7R

Other completed listings range from 100-200 dollars. $200 plants seem to have adult pitchers, while $100 plants have juvenile pitchers.

In my experience, these plants sell out very quickly.

If you are willing to wait, Andreas Wistuba has really great prices. But, you'd need to wait until he releases inventory. IME, his plants are small, but again the prices are great.

If you want an N. hamata sooner, I suggest contacting CA Carnivores and finding out when they'll have some.

Native Exotics was previously suggested. These folks have quality plants.

Good luck with your search!

Hamata available now: http://r.ebay.com/lGjXkm

All of the plants I've bought from Predatory Plants have been excellent. The owner, Josh Brown, is the president of my local carnivorous plant society. Super helpful and knowledgable. I've only had positive experiences buying from him.

Good luck!

How much do you think you'll sell it for?

I have no idea. It has 1 leaf and no visible growth so it may not be ready to sell in a year. I'll keep you updated though

Okay! I contacted a few sites that sell CPs and one should be able to sell me a stem cutting in a month. I think I may just take that deal since it's cheap (relative to what they go for) and try to root it myself.
