I saw the picture of them at the Flytrap Store, and they're so pretty. D: But I keep missing when all the plants stock, and I'm probably not fast enough anyway...so I was wondering if anyone had any clippings or seeds (is that how you do it? I really don't know, I usually do all this through my botanist friend XD) they'd be willing to sell or trade for some seeds/clippings of a VFT (not a clone of anything, as far as I know, just your basic VFT) or a d. capensis...which I doubt, but you never know. XD

Hi,

You can email or PM matt or steve, and i bet they might help you with that, you can also look for someone who has a low giant, and you can buy a pulling, plant, division from them.
By seeds, you won't get the real low giant because from seed, they can only have certain characteristics of the parent plants but never the same. Like humans when one has a baby, he doesn't look exactly the same like you, but with characteristics obtained from the father and mother.(is the same with plants ;) )

Good luck finding one! :)

As jht-union mentioned, you can't grow a Low Giant Venus Flytrap from seed because it is a genetically unique clone, and any seed, even if both parents are Low Giant, will be genetically different from its parents.

You could click the link at the Low Giant product page at FlytrapStore.com that reads, "Sign up to get notified when this product is back in stock," and you will automatically be sent an email when the plant is available.

Right there are several young Low Giant Venus Flytraps in my greenhouse at "Flytrap Store South" in New Mexico that I haven't considered quite ready for sale yet, but if you would like to buy one, just send me an email (not a private forum message) to arrange a date and time you'd like me to put it in stock so you can order it if you like. My email: steve@flytrapcare.com :)
