Waking them up early.

So I haven't been on and posted about the death of my plants in another section (because I'm dumb). I'm down about 100 to 150 plants now. But I have one pot that's doing freakishly well. The rest of them, I don't have much hope. At that other, it'll leave me with maybe 20 plants. Another 100 tossed in the garbage. So I'm holding out hope. Do you think it would be okay to end their dormancy now? I just can't bear the thought of having the tables of cups with dead plants in them. I've lost pretty much all my camed cultivars: jaws, wally, sd kronos, red dragon, yellow, purple ambush, ginormous, etc.. I just want to know what has really survived.

Yeah, Flytraps have been sleeping long enough at this point in most places in the US that they can start growing provided the days are long enough and warm enough.

I brought all of mine in from the cold dark room I put them. I thought forcing them into dormancy would be best. Hopefully I wasn't wrong lol. But I've got them all under strong lights and in a warm room more. My rooms look like a superbowl afterparty, large foam cups everywhere lol. I need a grow tent lol.

Yeah, sounds like you need a dedicated growing area!! But who am I to talk?! I've had thousands of flytraps growing in my office area and in the garage for years :D

ImageImage I feel like I'm getting there. I like to look at them in winter, occasionally poke the droseras lol. Eventually I'll either dedicate a room or get a grow tent lol.

Well, technically growing flytraps is a business for you, so your office is a fitting place to grow them. Besides, who doesn't like sitting in a lush jungle to work on a computer?
