Looks like a succulent to me (Or a dormant ping
)
So I guess treat it like a succulent?
They have something similar here in Indonesia but it's not even in the same genus, probably echeveria, but it looks similar.
EDIT: VIOLA? SERIOUSLY?

Jeff bonjour,
I posted this website for you. Then, since these plants looked interesting I ordered seeds for myself. They took my money but now I see they are out of stock. I think I am going to receive 10 of the correct seeds. Any way you can have them but I am interested in this plant.

Bonjour Jeff!
Well I know I need to get serious and order some Ga3. I do not recall everything but I think I will:
Put seeds in a paper towel and soak for 24 hours in a solution of 300 ppm - 500 ppm Ga3
Fill a 6" pot with media of 3 parts coarse silica sand (well rinsed swimming pool sand to remove the fine particulate) and one part peat. The peat well needed with distilled water and mixed with the rinsed sand.
Add 1/8 inch sand to the top of media.
Place seeds
Put 1/8 inch of sand over seeds.
Place the pot in a zip lock bag and place in refrigerator for one month....
PM me your address and I will send you some seeds if you want.
