Thanks for the replies! I'll be wary about that. I stuck the cobra lily near, two outside lights & where the suns main rays are directed. It was in my room, next to the windows, which is cold - semi-cold(The plant was already a bit cold & its been sitting in my room since jan 11th).

So the sudden change in temperature, I hope, isn't too much for it(From 60-70's to 10-30's). I checked the rhizome & yes, there is a nice fleshly part to it, intact. So, I pray, it lives, but we'll see how things go. Again, thank you all for the help. It'll be cool, to one day have a yard full of cobra plants, lol(The conditions are just right, in some parts(Soil is dead & barren)). Thanks for reading & have a lovely day, everyone!

I too pray it lives, If this poor plant does manage to make it through the trials and tribulations of its so far, short life, please dont further test its resolve by planting it in 'dead and barren' back yard soil without at least doing some tests on it first.

I haven't been torturing the plant, I've been taking the best care of it possible. But, you learn from trial & error. I didn't plan on planting it into dead & barren soil. I stuck the plant(Planted inside the pot), on a safe area. My plans, with planting the carnivorous plants in the above, was to use different meters or an all in one, to measure the ph, nutrients, etc, in the soil, to see if its safe, doing so.

I want this lovely plant to thrive as much as anyone else. I've been putting as much work into it as possible, to see it survive. I just don't think, leaving it in my room, where the temps are 50's-60's, throughout its dormancy, is the best idea. Because it says in the savage garden, to respect their dormancy(Chilly conditions), & other places, say the same as well.

Right now, the temps are between 10-40's outside. I could introduce it, in the middle range area, for now(40-50's), in my basement, if the temp decrease is too much, stated above. Makes sense, it could shock the plant & kill or stunt it. That, I don't want. But, thanks for your concern, I'll follow everyone's advice & get this cobra lily to live!
