I'm hoping for large, my plan was to strip the 'Alien' of their last summer leaves and propagate them over the winter into new plants.

Something tells me this probably won't work due to the length of shipping?

Probably not the best plan. Not only the shipping stress, but leaf pullings are best made in the spring and summer during most active growth. You would probably end up with very weak plants, if they took at all.

For 18 or so forum members, Christmas came before Thanksgiving this year. And not just because of the early displays at Walgreens. I cannot believe how large the plants are, most being between adult and mature size, and how healthy they have remained despite spending a month in plastic purgatory. I've always heard that Europe sold small flytraps; apparently that message hasn't made it to Carnivores and More. Wow. Just wow. I'm still half expecting to wake up and realize that I just dreamt that the plants all arrived this large. They did not look that big on the photos that Sarah posted. (I'd swear they grew in the past few days!) I definitely recommend Carnivores and More (U.S.P.S. not so much). And Sarah, you rock!

Haven't had time to fully unpack, but everything is looking really freaky and by that I mean awesome.
