Centrifugal inline fan?

Hi Everyone!
I finally got an inside grow tent for my CP's and besides a grow light and a small fan for airflow, is a centrifugal inline fan necessary? And if so, what else would be needed? I'm still relatively new on growing plants under grow lights where I want to be successful at it so any advice or suggestions is more than welcome. My set up so far is a Mars Hydro 300 in a tent that covers an area of 2.5' x 4' with a small clip on fan.
