my tap water is 24ppm but still that builds up over time inside the house. the best way i have found is to put the pot in the sink every so often, and let it flow.

When Growth slows i do this and it really speeds up after.



anyone know of a better way?

dumping peroxide over it might help. then dump a gallon or 2 of distilled water.
