Water from ice, older refrigerator

Hello, is it possible to use the ice from older refrigerators. I'm talking about the older refrigerators that generate ice over time and need to be scraped off once in a month. Is that good for carnivorous plants? Unfortunately I don't have a TDS meter to measure the water after the ice melt.

Yes it is , this ice is water from the air that condenses out on cold surfaces and is frozen, so it is virtually the same as rainwater, unless it gets contaminated by other things in the freezer of course.
If you have any doubts borrow or buy a TDS meter and you will see how good it is.

Cheers
