its from the company itself and it lists that it was a return. I'd think of it like an open box item.

I mean I can't answer that for you haha I'd assume it being returned and resold it wasn't returned as damaged. you should send them a message and ask them perhaps.

I just can't get over the fact that it says 100% legit 
. It says the customer returned under a month. They probably didn't like it. I'll be honest though. I never buy off Ebay. Ever. Not unless I know them from somewhere

I've bought several MarsHydro 300s from the vendor off eBay.
I have no complaints, I love them.
That is my workhorse light in my basement grow area.
Except I paid close to full price for mine, about $60 each or so, USD.
