You might want to identify that 'small surprise' and possibly kill it if it isn't native to India.

Looks awfully white.
Is that because they're recently out of TC or were they just in a box for that long?

I have heard about Japanese beetles invasion in U.S..
Are they really invasive?
Yes Eric,they were in since 29 July.

Yes. It's awful. The worst invasives in this country (at least in the southeast) came from Japan. Kudzu, Japanese Beetles, and several other species I don't remember.

Asian Longhorn Beetle, Emerald Ash Borer, Water hyacinth...APHIS and USDA have been railing about these for years.

It's almost a tradition. Pretty much every bird you'll see in a US city is invasive - pigeons, house sparrows, starlings.
