OK, so the results of the photo contest are in!

First place, by quite a margin, was "Boris' old Nepenthes x Miranda upper with some guests". Boris lives in Germany, so he actually receives two prizes. For first place, he'll get Sarracenia Sx "Diane Whittaker" from Carl of Shropshire Carnivores. And he'll also receive the U.calycifida from moof (promised to the top finisher in the EU).

Second place was "nightsky's typical Venus fly trap". nightsky resides in the US and will receive a Nepenthes X Judith Finn.

And there was a tie for third place! "PatsPlants' flowering Darlingtonia californica" and "ZackNJ's Heliamphora heterodoxa X minor". Both of the 3rd place winners will receive prizes.

Because he's in the US, ZackNJ will get a Cupped Trap flytrap.

Because he's in the EU, PatsPlants will get a pot of D. spatulata from Carl.

As a token of appreciation, everyone that submitted an entry is welcome to a packet of Dioanea seed from Steve's and my stock. It's not been harvested yet, but it should be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. Anyone that submitted a photo and wants a packet of Dionaea seed, please email us your name and shipping address at sales@flytrapcare.com. We'll ship you the seed once we have it!

A big thank you to all who participated in the contest and made it a success! I enjoyed all of the photos and I look forward to seeing more photos submitted in the next contest, which will likely run sometime in July.
