I was just curious if you had plans to stock the SD Kronos this season, I found a link in the store but no cart option so was wondering if it was not going to be offered this season. Hard mutant to find! Thanks!

We will probably have a few to offer in the United States.

Can you post a link? It shouldn't be on FlytrapStore, only FTS International.

This was on the international store, I didn't realize at the time as I linked through a image search. Does this mean it is possibly coming to the US in the future?

Yes, as soon as we get some propagated, planted out and grown out to sale size, it will be available in the US store. This will likely happen this summer sometime.

So is this the equivalent to dc xl, but ground hugger?

I guess that's one way to put it, I have never seen one in person but from the pictures they seem to have a very large round trap instead of some giants that's can have a more elongated trap size. Matt can probably answer this a little better

That's a decent analogy. SD Kronos is a very large and vigorous flytrap. On average, it seems to have larger traps than DC XL. But the largest traps on SD Kronos haven't matched the largest traps I've seen on DC XL.

In any case, it's definitely a very nice giant flytrap.

It's a nice cultivar/ clone to have - very vigorous, produces large traps, and stays low. As Matt mentioned on another post, sometimes the traps tend to grow/ nest on top of each other.

Beautiful. I was lucky enough to pick one up from Matt earlier and it's growing quite nice. I see them on eBay being sold for insane prices for a single plant.
