Someone got me this hybrid they picked up at a local flea market last year its really taking off this year can you help me ID it? by end of summer turns deep red

It definitely has purpurea in it and maybe some flava too.

Impossible to say with certainty it looks like A catesbaei but could have other species in it.

I agree, going to call it case closed, and move it to a huge pot next year. the seeds are pollinated with a minor x alata should be fun
