A Few Requests

Hey Everyone!
A few months back I bought a VFT for the hell of it and instantly became hooked! So after some time caring for it (and it actully growing!) I finally bit the bullet and bought a few more plants from one of the local garden centers. When I asked the species for the sundew they had no idea so I didnt bother for the others. I've tried some research (mostly for the sundew) but I cant quite figure it out and was hoping for some expert advice or confirmation! Any bit helps! Thanks in advance

most garden centers don't have anything rare so my best guess for the Nep is Ventricosa or Ventrata and the dew is most likely Spatulata.

Nepenthes x ventrata, Drosera tokaiensis (this is very commonly sold as spatulata, but it's not,) and hard to say about the Sarracenia but it's certainly a hybrid with some leucophylla in it.

Nice plants, but you're going to need WAY more light for that sarr. They basically need to be outside and in full sun.

The Sarracenia: Prorabally S. Judith Hindle.

The dew: Looks like my D. spathulata, but probally a Tokaiensis

The Nepenthes most likley is a N. x ventrata, although I've seen ventricosas in garden stores, too.

Hope this helps!

The Nepenthes looks like x ventrata and the Sarracenia looks like it might be a x judith hindle. The drosera looks like it may be D. spatulata but I am not good sundew identification so you probably want to see other opinions.

I agree that the sarracenia needs more sun. The sundew would probably also appreciate more sun. They look better when they are put outside and the sarracenia is a temperate plant so it can be kept outside if you live in a place where it gets cold. The Nepenthes doesn't need as much sun and I grow mine on a windowsill.

I have them in a different spot than where I took the picture so they are getting much more sun. Thanks for the info everyone!
