Cheapest Bulb that works?

What is the best and cheapest bulb that'll grow seeds & cuttings ? For a regular lamp.

A compact fluorescent bulb probably.

What i would aim for is 6500k (colour temperature)
I couldnt find it on the ebay listing, so i googled: http://energy-star-lighting.findthebest ... Light-Bulb

and its 2700k (2700k is farther in the red spectrum, mostly used for letting plants flower)

Do they have these at home depot? Or where could I get them?

HD probably has them. Walmart definitely does. You want a "cool" bulb.

I've only seen 6500k bulbs labeled as "Daylight" around here where "cool" is usually around 4500k.
