divide?

i got a plant that is in dormancy but when it wakes up in spring it will open but how do you know when to divide the rhizomes and get more plants?

Flytraps benefit from a repot every year or two. Whenever you repot and rinse the media away from the rhizome, if it's ready to divide, it will be obvious (there will be two separate bulbs) and might even just fall apart. If the bulbs aren't completely separate, but you can see where it's starting to grow apart, you can also gently pry the bulbs apart.

i left my VFT without repot for about a year and i didn't need to look under the soil to know it was ready,the top was so crowded some leafs where shrivleing and dying from lack of light! when i repotted it i had about 4 plants from it :D
