Size 9x9x10

currently used for this measure 13x13x13 cm - 1L, but the change in any respect to perform transplants if you see these little ones that are suitable for the cultivation of VTF, what would be the best time for transplanting, after hibernation?.

Thanks for all . Best regards Ignacio D

Hola amigo,
The pot is good, you can transplant the plants now. It can be done the whole year. Use peat mixed with silica sand, or LFS. You can find all the info on the site.

(Allen, that Google translation is horrible (but funny!).  Mine may not be too much better, but here it is.)

Translation / Traducción
What do people use for Venus Flytraps, perlite or silica sand? Currently I'm using long-fiber sphagnum (or ground light-colored sphagnum moss) and perlite. I don't know if silica sand is better, and what size or how coarse? Right now I'm not going to transplant because I haven't had them for long (2 months). I don't know if it would be alright to transplant them now or to let them continue to acclimate themselves, although it would save a lot of space, the new ones that arrive I'll put in those pots. (I'm not sure if I got the last two phrases correct, because I'm not sure I understand the Spanish).

---

I personally prefer silica sand instead of perlite. When I use both, I usually use more sand than perlite. I feel that the sand breaks the medium up better and gives it a nicer consistency for the plants' roots to grow into. It must be almost pure silica sand however, not beach sand nor river sand.

If it were me and the plants were healthy, I might transplant them if I thought they needed it (into a larger container or in better medium) despite having them only for two months.

OK-- now I'm going to try to say the same thing in Spanish. Please correct my Spanish, Ignacio. :)

Steve
