My traps aren’t closing. I’m not sure if they are exhausted or if they are not getting enough light. Can someone tell me what the deal is?

You have been feeding them, haven't you? ;) I have found that the leaf turns inside out like the one in the picture once it has digested as many bugs as it can handle.

each leaf has just got done digesting some flies that could be the reason

One large fly or spider will do it in!

And is that potting media straight from the (reputable) store? Some large-scale garden-store growers seem to use poor peat mix.
