i live in florida and im about to get a VFT soon and was woundering whats the best place to leave my VFT inside or out?

I always vote for growing outside. There are far fewer problems you have to deal with when growing your plants outside. And given that you live in Florida, your plants should thrive outside. There is actually a wild stand of Venus fly traps in the Florida panhandle, so Dionaea grow quite well there.

so outside is a good way to go? thanks . what about when winter hits, it doesnt get to cold over here so what should i do for it dormancy?

I think that it gets cool enough and the days shorten enough to trigger a light dormancy for the plants and that's all they'll need.

whats the fridge methode? just putting it in the fridge or is it more complex?
