All green Venus fly trap .

I bought a Venus fly trap from orchids limited so I know it was decent quality , it is a darker green color it's not like the common trap that is lighter green with pinkish red on the Inside , I really want to know what kind it is , it gets full 8 hour sun everyday and RO or rain water and is in New Zealand moss and perlite , some people on here say it should be red on the Inside and if it isn't that it's not getting enough sun , which is not the case and it keeps shutting up new traps , this leads me to believe it's a different type of trap that doesn't get red inside ? Idk ?

I'm not saying this trap isn't common , it definitely a basic female dog , but it is totally a different trap compared to the one with red on the inside , any thoughts based on the pic ?

It's still just a typical, just one that is more green.

So I shouldn't expect it to get pink ? I thought maybe I was killing it bc there was no color .

For at least 6 to 8 hours , I feel like it would have changed color if it was going to ?

There are all green Venus fly trap's, so if after maybe a month it's not going to go red.

some will show color only sometimes, some will show color only under certain conditions, some will never show any color, variety is the spice of life and all that, you may notice it exhibiting color later on into the growing season, it could just stay bright green forever -- no real rhyme or reason to it from what I can tell!

it looks pretty that nice bright green right now

If you didn't purchase a flytrap with a cultivar label attached, it's called a "typical" because there's no way to tell what cultivar it's cloned from.
It may color up later in the season, or not at all. If this one does well, you can go and buy one that's guaranteed to have some more color. Hardware store flytraps can color up nicely if you get healthy ones.
