waking up from dormancy

I live in st Louis, mo(5b zone) and we are still having dark cold rainy & cloudy weather and daylight lengths aren't enough at least I can't tell. All my vft from last year are showing no new growth. Is this normal for my location? Anyone here close to zone 5b/st Louis, mo?

I'm in the UK, so I don't know what it's like over there. If the conditions are cold and not much sunlight then it will stay in dormancy, new growth will not come through yet.

Exactly. Depending on the year, we've had flytraps flowering in February or not until June. Entirely depends on how sunny and warm the weather is.

Judging by the photos in the other threads you posted, they are being kept far too wet and they are also in desperate need of a repot into fresh media.
