Ok new to growing VFTs bought mine in March. I cut the flowerstalk as recommended planted it. Now there's a smaller vft growing. What I would like to know will it be safe outside since October and November are coming up. Also how are their overall health. BTW I live In Georgia

As long as temperatures don't dip below freezing (which probably doesn't happen in most of Georgia until December or January), the plants should be fine outdoors.

To start off beautiful looking plant, the babies also look in good shape, I'd maybe cut down on the water since the soil looks a tad bit wetter then it should be, 'moist not wet' as someone always says

I'd read this since October and November is the time your Venus Flytrap should be going into dormancy but you can leave your Venus Flytrap outside since Georgia is in the hardiness zone of 8 unless you have one of those extended freezes then you might want to consider bringing your Venus Flytrap inside, especially since you currently have yours planted in a small pot and I have seen those types of pots and they are not very big and don't keep the roots protected against the environment all that well so I'd replant it next year.

During Dormancy! Also, I agree with the soil being too wet. I have had many VFT suffer if not die due to root rot. They started doing better when I kept soil just moist. What is also VERY important too... During their dormancy HARDLY let them have ANY water. If while they are growing is moist, but not wet, then during dormancy, lightly moist! Get a cheapo water meter. Best thing to do is let the top layer go dry (While underneath is still moist) And keep it at that level of moisture during dormancy. (Just my 2c)
