When i bought my plant it came in a little green plastic container that is about 2 inchs deep. Should i repot it now or wait till spring?

It's really up to you. Either way your plant will probably be fine. Sorry that's not very helpful...hah.

It will be fine in a shallow pot. I wintered some of my plants in 2 inch pots last year.

Yeah, its really up to you, but I would probably wait, it wont grow over dormancy, so it should be fine in the pot it is.

It's your call whether you want to repot right now or wait, but if you decide not to repot, make sure to keep a close eye on it during winter, since the pot is so small, the soil will freeze a lot faster than in a larger pot. I know that they can handle some freezing temperatures, but if it freezes for too long or freezes and thaws several times, your plant might not make it. If you end up repotting, just be a little careful so that the roots dont get damaged and you can actually just take it from one pot and put it in another, no need to get rid of the old soil unless its not the right type of soil. Hmmm, hope that makes sense.
