Callus?

Hi all,
I am not sure about this one but it can be a callus forming ?

It certainly looks like it, but it also looks like the rest of the tissue is nearly all dead. Hopefully it takes off for you.

Ok I see Matt, the rest is alive just that its a very dark red/purple flower stalk and can seem to look little dead.

Ah, OK, I thought that it might be a red VFT flower stalk. I'd say yes then, that's definitely callus and it should take eventually.

It's a callus, and they look really healthy. I think they will stick.
