Plants of three months from explant (Murashige and Skoog 1/3 with 2% sucrose). I still have a strange and and inexplicable fall of pH in the substrate after one day, but I'm handling it with an increase during preparation.

Simply autoclaving media is sufficient to reduce the pH, through hydrolysis, among other some things; and virtually all media -- especially within the pH associated with the culture of carnivorous plants and orchids -- will become more acidic.

You may wish to increase your sucrose concentration, to 2.5, even 3%. I've rarely achieved or maintained stable pH at concentrations that low . . .

The plants are growing fast now, but with the appearance of roots it seems that they don't multiply from leaves any more. Is it probably due to gas exchange, medium or other problems? :|
