The return envelope was glued shut when it arrived.
I had to cut it open and tape it up.

Oh sorry! Some of my envelopes have gotten stuck together, I’m not sure how.

No problem.
I just told you about it so you wouldn't think someone has been opening your mail.
Humidity or rain during the delivery process makes this happen sometimes.
The only way to prevent it is to cut a small strip of Waxed Paper and put it between the flap and the envelope body.
