I went to the North Carolina State Farmers' Market this past weekend to drop off a load of pots for my friend with a commercial greenhouse. He had these beautiful flytraps for sale.

Awesome plants and i especially love the "not responsible for lost fingers" message. My 6 year old daughter thinks this is the case with vft and as it keeps her away from my plants I haven't told her otherwise yet. Am I a bad father lol.

I see that the Post Office handled it with their usual level of "care".... I used Saran wrap to try to keep the soil in the pot, but they must have flipped the box upside-down (despite "This side up" and arrows on all sides of the box). This is why I prefer to ship plants bare-rooted.

Just repot it nicely and give it a couple weeks of good care, and it should be back to normal.

It looks like the crown might be buried a bit on the sundew, try to keep it free of soil so it doesn't rot. I don't know if it's just the photo or if it's really under the potting medium a bit.
