Do you think I can achieve the same results with your Kronos with just full sun and scheduled feeding?

Definitely. I just leave mine outside in the Hawaii sun and they keep getting bigger and splitting however it was only 1 plant from last spring, but now there's a couple dozen of them getting ready to come out of dormancy. Based on what I've seen so far, it's size and vigor is still a bit below that of DCXL however they were still very young, and could get some 2 inchers this season.

They are still acting dormant now, put some outdoors all winter while the others were in a fridge from December 1st until March 1st. I'll probably pluck off flower stalks to hopefully try and prevent them from splitting into even more plants.

This thread is great! I was looking for more info on SD Kronos since I just got my starter plant. It’s starting to break dormancy and looks like it has a tiny flower stalk coming up. I probably should cut it off
