I find this cultivar very entertaining both to look and and to watch it try to close its traps when triggered

Angel Wings has just been added to the FlytrapStore. We expect to have it available in limited supply starting in 2014.

So if it can't catch bugs, do you fertilize it some other way?

No. I might fertilize some of my traps next spring, but we just give them good care and they grow quite quickly.

Some of the traps may be functional and capable of closing completely, but the majority seem to not be able to catch prey.

They will produce some freaky clones or cultivars if the some trait passes down by seed . I'm thinking of angel wings x fused tooth... Can you try to let it flower next year Matt? Great plants as usual!

A question that is not post-worthy: How do you create these awesome fonts to go with the plant name Matt? Do you use some special font creator or something?

Yeah, I'm going to try to get some seed from it next year. This year I used the flower stalks for TC.

I just snag them online for free. There are quite a few websites out there that have free fonts available for download. I usually use FontSpace.

Angel Wings can catch bug, only if the trap havent gotten to there full open position.

Kinda looks like "monkey butt"
