Another interesting variegated flytrap. Thanks for sharing!

The frequency of variegated flytraps seems to be increasing. I still wonder if the variegation is possibly a virus. I grow a few variegated varieties myself and they seem to be perfectly normal in terms of vigor and the variegation does not seem transmissible, but I haven't thoroughly tested that yet.

Maybe you could take a variegated clone, take a pulling, put it in a blender with a lil water, strain out the water and spray a couple typical VFTs with the water. Seems the virus would be in the water. No?

It might be easier in stead of spraying, to inject them, i think if it is a virus, it has had an non plant host.

At some point, I'm going to try to rub a cut leaf from a variegated flytrap on to a cut leaf on a typical flytrap and see if the virus is transmissible that way.
