It's HERE! FTS Shogun Star

I ordered a FTS Shogun Star, young adult and bareroot.
It came in a box that was 5 x 8 x 2.5 inches, roughly.
The plant's roots were wrapped in a moist paper towel, and placed in a baggie.
I was very pleased with the condition of the plant as well.
I think two or three leaves were blackening, but not by very much,
and it's to be expected since the plant spent some time in transit.
The plant is really beautiful. I'm glad I bought this one!
My VFT already had two insects in its traps- digested and done.
I wasn't too keen with bugs, so I got my bug-savvy friend to remove them for me.
And some of the traps were open, so good signs everywhere!
Here is my plant in size relevance to a starburst.
The traps are quite big,
and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun dropping little critters in once in a while.
The pot is 4.5 inches deep, with a half inch integrated saucer
into which I can pour water.
But I noticed that the VFT's roots were quite long,
and the longest tip of the roots are probably about 1 inch from the bottom.
I think I'll look into getting a bigger and better pot for it.
For now, I'll probably take a bunch of pictures
and think up a cool name for it.
