Hi I’m new here. Just got into growing carnivorous plants and I was growing Sphagnum moss. If I grow it in the open indoors is it bad? I’m especially worried about fungal spores, such as Sporothrix. Also, how would I prevent fungus in my terrariums (tropical carnivorous plants) and open pots (fly traps)?

When I handled the moss (dried and wet) I didn’t not now about this fungus. I’m not sure if I had open wounds, and I most definitely did not have gloves or a mask. I probably breathed it in as I love the smell of moss. Should I take anti-fungal pills?
