D.filiformis Questions

So I have tried to grow D. filiformis x filiformis and every time I try the poor thing dies. I have it growing in the same conditions as D.capensis.

D.capensis growing condition is ~75 day time with night temperatures around ~60. Humidity is at 87% all the time slowly dropping this temp over then next few months to get it closer to 60-70%. 12 hours under an LED grow light, that was recommended on here before.

Does anyone have any recommendations and what I’m doing wrong.

Drosera filiformis is a temperate sundew and should be grown in the same conditions you would grow flytraps and sarracenia in. They like a lot of direct sunlight. You don't have to grow It in a humid terrarium as you would with tropical plants.

That may be why. Is there a tropical species like the red that grows in Florida? Never had any luck with Venus fly traps. Would get them in the dormant period just fine. But once spring would roll around they would never germinate.

Drosera Multifida extrema is a nice tropical sundew. It also grows quite large.
