Cephalotus and Heliamphora seed wanted

I know it's a bit late in the northern hemisphere to get fresh Cephalotus, but if anyone has any, I'm on the lookout for some. If you're in the southern hemisphere and your Cephalotus is going to flower in the near future, I can trade you seed now or I'd be happy purchase some from you when it ripens. Unfortunately I can't trade plants internationally.

I'm also looking for some Heliamphora seeds, but my hopes of finding some aren't too high.

If you have either type of seed, please PM me.

Triffid Nurseries sells Ceph seeds, but they're not cheap. £2.50 for three seeds. Why the curiosity?

And if you find a source, let me know. I'm definitely interested in trying to grow these guys. Gorgeous plants.

Edit: Ya know, two things make me insane. One, John Brittnacher lives in the same town as you. Two, I got my BA from friggin' UC Davis and never knew of the carnivorous plant studies they did there. Sigh.

Cool! Thanks for pointing that out to me. If I'm really hard up, I might order some. Right now I'm thinking I'll just wait until I can get some cheaper or get some in a trade. I'm just wanting to try start a lot of different plants in vitro.

Yeah, I see John regularly. It's nice to have the ICPS seedbank here in the same town, for sure. Hah, that's funny that you went to UC Davis and didn't know about the work that Barry and John were doing in the conservatory, though if you weren't into carnivorous plants at the time, there's no reason that you would have.
