I'm thinking of dropping in a few other cps between my vft pots to help with any occasional tiny bug that may become some future pest. Something like a drosera or ping that is able to trap smaller prey.

Anyone have any suggestions for such a plant? Something on the smaller side would be ideal, and even better if it has similar dormancy requirements so I can just transport my whole tray or even keep in the same pot as my vfts.

I'm thinking of P. pumila since I think its range overlaps that of vfts.

In the past I had a D. regia would gobble up all the stray tiny flies that my vfts would be unable to catch. But this time I'm looking for something more soil level for mites and such and I think I small temperate ping would do much better.

I've found that Drosera filiformis (threadleaf sundew) does very well in the same pots as Venus flytraps. Drosera capillaris and D. intermedia are also good choices. All 3 of these sundews grow in the flytrap's native range.
