Are Venus flytraps good plants for the greenhouse? I have a tray of 12 plants in my greenhouse right now since it’s still pretty cold here during the night. It gets down to around 43 degrees Fahrenheit here in the nighttime and usually around 55-70ish during the day. Sometimes warmer. Greenhouse stays significantly warmer than that especially during the day. At what point is it too hot/humid in there? Is there ever a time where they’d be better off just outside instead of the greenhouse?

Venus flytraps are temperate plants that go dormant for the winter, so they can take some cold. I'm not sure if they'd stay non-dormant in those temps; they do use light as a signal for when to go dormant. I suspect you might be able to grow them outdoors just fine.

That said, they grow fine in greenhouses as long as they get enough light. Heat isn't an issue as long as they stay moist, unless we're talking a degree of heat that cooks everything else in the place, and high humidity should be fine as long as they have some air movement and don't stay constantly wet on their foliage.
