Starting to expand that capensis mini-collection, sowed a TON of seeds, and struck a couple leaf cuttings. Also got some pings.

Sowed some gemmae, added a utric, and removed the plants I lost in the freezer... :(
Still holding out hope for a couple pots though, and I'm re-receiving a couple plants next week hopefully. All is not lost.

Nice list! Can I ask how you grow your D. Arcturi? I’ve considered getting one, but held off, thinking I couldn’t give it cool enough temps.

I am still testing things out with arcturi as well. I just got it several months ago from BCP, and while it is settled in and growing, albeit slowly, I have very little idea as to how to go about dormancy. At the moment it is growing in a chest freezer setup with 73 daytime highs and 57 nighttime lows. I feel like a drop in these plus a decreased photoperiod could induce dormancy, but I don't want to compromise the health of the other plants in the chest freezer. It is growing in a lfs:perlite mix with pretty high humidity as well.

Ok, sounds good so far. I’m from NZ, and not many people grow it (successfully at least) here, as it’s not easy to replicate its mountain conditions.

Wow, that is an impressive grow list!

I started recently and have been building a collection. I also enjoy Drosera the most! Seeing that list has me doing all kinds of research. I hope to propagate my own here in the future. Good luck!
