Is this anything to be excited about?

Hey!

I've had Saraccenia, VFT and Sundew seeds germinating for a few weeks now. Nothing has started to grow as yet but noticed this today with a little seed hanging onto one of the leaves. Is this just a seedling from the sphagnum moss?

yes, just a weed. It's definitely not a sarr, vft or sundew seedling.

vft usually germinates 2 weeks if fresh or within 2 months but sometimes even more. Had a seed germinated after 4 months. For sundew sometimes the same and if fresh within a week.

For Sarracenia did you cold stratify the seed?

Hey again everyone!

So out of my pots containing Sarracenia, VFT and sundew seeds I'm hoping there's at least some good news from these pictures if anyone can tell me if any of it has started to germinate? the VFT and Sarracenia look potentially mouldy though...

Hello congratulations the pics shows a sundew that germinated and the other are vft germination. For the last one not sure because when I germinated my sarracenia seeds didnt expect them only after a few weeks where they are all growing with tiny pitchers. But again the pics you posted shows germination of both sundew and vft.
