I would not be surprised if it's another D. capensis. They can be rather weedy. I would highly recommend pulling all that grass out before it gets any bigger though, the roots can get quite tangled up in the LFS and difficult to remove when it's larger.

So it is grass? I wasn't sure so I left it alone.

I bought a plant that came with New Zealand long fiber Sphagnum Moss. A few days after arrival hundreds of seeds started to sprout and I was hoping they were Utricularia hitchhikers. They were grass. I waited until they were 1" tall before pulling them out. By then the roots were deep into the Sphagnum and I had a (*&^%$#@WQ!@W#$ of a time getting them all out.

Good growing,
Mike

Yeah, LFSM is very prone to these little grass seeds staying in even with rinsing. I pull them out as soon as possible. Otherwise like everyone has said, they get really tangled up and you pull half the moss up.

BUT I do see a baby sundew in there, that is not grass don't pull that out.
