Okay, so I have these display cases that I've repurposed as pots/humidity domes for individual plants. HOWEVER, some of them (my Heliamphora chimantensis in particular) are getting too big/will be too big soon.

During the day, I keep them on this cool shelf thing with a powerful LED above it Image

I want to remove the tops, where should I look for a see through material (thick plastic?) that I can drape over it to increase humidity and remove the tops? Thanks so much!

Here is a link to one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EVVS51O/re ... HxbAYM31XZ

I don't know if that's what your looking for, but it would probably work... Haha

Yeah, that won't be big enough (height wise). Basically some material that will cover the whole shelf

You can basic clear sheets or rolls of plastic at most home improvement stores (lowes, home depot, Menards) or possibly farming/agriculture stores (rural kimg, tractor supply, etc.)

Yeah, I'm not very handy. Just thought of Home Depot too. May have to raise it up off the top shelf though. Will have to rig something up.

They all have drainage. I drilled holes in the containers :)

Perfect. If you get a terrarium, you can just put the open containers in there.

Yeah, maybe. But the plastic would work too and I could fit more stuff :)

I think those plastic boxes are a great idea. So clean looking! But I get it, they're a little small... I would second the aquarium and glass lid. That's what I have and it works great. Just wait until Petco has their $1/gallon sale and pick up a tank!
