I've read online like you can rub rose petals on the apex and use it as a ph tester. I had a dying pitcher on my cephalotus and cut it off and in half, I saw it was park purple and rubbed it on paper out of Curiosity. It came out to a light purple and then I added water, not a lot happened, I added lime juice and it turned bright pink, I think you can use old cephalotus to test ph.Image Is this wrong to do?

What do mean is it wrong to do? I think it's fascinating that you found out that cephalotus pigmentation can act like a litmus test.

Will your cephalotus appreciate it if you do it on a constant basis? Probably not. Although it was a dying pitcher, so it might have less of a negative impact.

Do you often find yourself in need of litmus paper?
