My first ever drosera has a flower spike! This is a first for me so I'm stoked! Still can't believe how small they are. I have all my macro gear ready to shoot the flowers!

Looks great! This species produces an abundance of very fertile seeds which seem to get into all the pots around it. I'm sure you've been told but make sure to keep them fed during and after flowering to keep them growing for another season.

Yea i do hope I get some seeds. The apple is there to attract fruit flies. They eat so much that I have to clean the traps or they get mold.

Haha lets see if im capable of collecting seed and growing new ones first. They are just great compared to my intermedia which sucks at catching anything. As you can see in the pic, they are huge compared to burmannii but their catching speed is soooooo slow.

I think I got those in a pitcher plant pot. They grow under my venus flytraps quite happily all season and reseeded themselves this spring. They sprouted late in the season so I forgot about them actually. ;)
